What is FAFSA Eligibility
Filing the FAFSA Form is the First Step to Receive Your Financial Aid

Are registered with the Selective Service if required (if you are a male between the ages of 18 to 25) |
Maintain satisfactory academic progress once in school. |
Do not owe refunds on any federal student grants (or are in default on any student loans) |
Certify that you are not in default on a federal student loan and do not owe money on a federal student grant. |
Have not been found guilty of the sale or possession of illegal drugs during a period when you received federal student aid. |
FAFSA Deadlines
Different types of financial aid have different deadlines. Because the FAFSA is the foundation of many need-based aid programs, it is critical to fill out and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1st. Many types of financial aid are given on a first-come, first-served basis, so delays could hurt you. Please see FAFSA Application Deadlines for details.
